If you can’t be bothered with buying and gathering all the necessary supplies to move, such as boxes, bubble wrap and tape, and then packing up all your belongings in those packing materials, make sure you hire a mover that offers packing services. They will bring the required supplies to your door, assemble them, pack your stuff appropriately, label them and transport them. If you don’t want to unpack either, make sure the movers also offer unpacking services. Not all do.
By having movers pack your stuff, you save time from having to head to the store, locate the things you need, bring it all back, and tediously pack every item. Your movers will also bring the proper boxes for awkward or large items such as flat screen TVs, lamps and the like.
If you’re on a tight budget, you can ask for a partial pack, which is when the movers only pack fragile items such as mirrors, TVs, electronics, glassware and vases. These are often awkward and difficult to pack properly on your own. You can reduce the cost with a partial pack and still get peace of mind that your most valuable belongings will be packed and transported with care. 3. Load All Items
Hauling and loading large boxes and heavy items can be physically demanding on a homeowner. Leaving this part up to the movers can save your sanity and your back. Not only can they grab your items and boxes from inside the house and bring them outside, they can load them all on the truck in the most efficient and safe manner.
They know which items are top-heavy, which ones have to be placed at the back of the truck, and which ones need special treatment. They do all this with speed and safety in mind so your move can be completed in the least amount of time with zero damage.
At the new place, they will unload all the items and haul them into the residence. If you have already thought ahead and labeled or color coded the boxes, they can even set them down in the designated rooms to save you further hassle later on when it comes time to unpack.

Many full-service movers won’t disconnect and reconnect appliances as well as complex home entertainment systems, due to the liability involved. However, they may have connections with specialty companies that do offer those services. Some full-service movers do offer appliance reconnect and disconnect. All you have to do is ask.
5. Storage
Another offering of full-service movers is often storage. Sometimes, there’s a gap between when you move out of your old house and into your new one. Maybe the closing isn’t going to line up perfectly in terms of timing, or maybe you have sold your house but haven’t secured suitable housing yet. In the meantime, you will need somewhere to put your stuff. The movers aren’t going to hang onto it for you!
This is where climate-controlled storage comes in. If your movers don’t actually offer this service in their own dedicated facilities, they may have a partnership with a local company that does.
6. Specialty Items
Some full-service movers also offer packing and transportation of specialty items for an extra fee, such as priceless art collections, antiques, vintage wine collections, expensive jewelry, and rare baseball card collections. Some will even transport your pets. You will pay for these services, of course, but they’ll cut down on the stress you feel handling these items on your own.
